Born to Dutch parents in 1950, animal sculptor Cécile Kruyfhooft is also an art historian and a former art dealer, specialising in Old Master drawings. She worked for years at the Royal Zoological Society of Antwerp, as a Public Relations Officer and produced exhibitions and publications on animals in art for the Zoo.
