Hills & Cloud, is exemplary of Webb’s unique printing process. Her distinctive linoleum etchings and hand wiping technique creates tonal range within sharp-edge embossed shapes.

In Hills & Cloud, the solid mass of the land contrasts with the light and airy cloud form. Across her long career, Webb has engaged in a social commentary about environmental concerns, feminist issues, and Māori and postcolonial history.
