Join Curator, Juliana Engberg and explore some highlights of All That Was Solid Melts - an exhibition of and for our times, featuring powerful works by world-leading artists.
This tour will visit just a few selected works, focusing on the themes of resurgence, rebirth and rewilding which emerge in the second half of the exhibition.
Juliana is an award-winning and internationally acclaimed artistic director, curator, cultural and event producer, and writer. She has a reputation for creating groundbreaking, compelling and engaging multi-form festivals, visual arts projects, commissions, events and public engagement programs. She is currently engaged as Senior Curator Global Contemporary at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki.
Get inside the mind of the Curator of All That is Solid Melts! Senior curator Juliana Engberg says: ‘Art and music are intimately linked. While putting finishing touches on this exhibition and writing the newspaper that goes with it, a lot of songs came to mind.' Enjoy immersing yourself in this eclectic mix of music which playfully reflects the themes of the exhibition.
