Lunchtime Drop-in Drawing

Please note, Drop-in Drawing will be held in our Mackelvie Gallery (Mezzanine Level) on Friday 8 and Friday 15 November. This is a smaller space compared to our North Atrium and capacity will be limited. Access is via lifts only. Please ask one of our friendly Gallery Assistants, Kaiārahi if you would like assistance during your visit.

Keen to practice your sketching and observation skills in a relaxed environment? Be inspired by a life model in an open drawing encounter, every Friday lunchtime. 

Set in the Gallery spaces, you are invited to bring your favourite drawing materials (dry media only please) or use the materials provided, grab a stool and find a space to be inspired by what you see. There will be a drawing tutor Heyes Johnson on hand to offer guidance. 

These drawing sessions are suitable for everyone – from complete beginners to accomplished artists. All welcome. Drop in early though, as places are limited.
