Ron Stenberg
Artwork Detail
An Auckland artist who painted with John Weeks, Lois White and Charles Tole, Ron Stenberg later taught art in Britain for forty years. The choice of such a subject, and seen from an inventive viewpoint is characteristic of Stenberg's art of this period. The drawing is extremely accomplished and harmonises with shimmering, broken colour.
