Unleash your inner fashionista at our Guo Pei Late Night extravaganza. Immerse yourself in the enchanting worlds of Guo Pei as we transform the Gallery into a nocturnal playground of style and sophistication. Get ready for a night of glamour, art, music, food, and inspiration! Join us for some pop-up talks in the exhibition, try your hand at a drop-in fashion illustration challenge and sip away while serene sister duo Ersha Island 二沙岛 play an hour’s set, following their recent EP launch, Back to Our Roots. The Rolling Pin dumplings, Fankery cheesecakes and bubble tea will be available to purchase at our pop-up night market on the forecourt and bars will be available to purchase wine and beers.

Enjoy the mesmerising music of soul-pop sister-duo Ersha Island 二沙岛 in our Te Ātea | North Atrium.
Indie-folk duo Ersha Island 二沙岛 are Chinese-Pākeha siblings who combine unique sounds from their cultural heritage, exploring what it means to be of mixed identity through lyrics, storytelling, and sound.
Having chalked up distinctions in Piano and Violin for Classical Performance at the China Conservatory of Music in Beijing at ages 11 and 8, the siblings now write compositions featuring a blend of Eastern and Western sounds. They released debut singles Gut Feeling and Good Day in February 2022 with equal focus on Western and Asian/Chinese platforms along with two engaging music videos.
